Location

WaterSong Woods Cabins are in secluded areas on 75-acres of woodland in Hocking County, about seven miles north of Logan, in the southeastern part of Ohio, .

Visitors have convenient access to the Hocking Hills State Park which includes Ash Cave and Old Man's Cave, the Wayne National Forest, and many other scenic areas.

The parks offer opportunities for hikers and for horseback riders.

Off-road motorcycle trails are available in the Wayne National Forest.

To get to WaterSong Woods Cabins:

We are about 55 miles southeast of Columbus, OH, off St. Rt. 33.

Take St. Rt. 33 to the St. Rt. 180/Laurelville exit, turn left toward Enterprise.

Go approximately 1.3 miles to the second Enterprise Rd. (look for the D&L Trading Post), turn left.

Take an immediate right onto Voris Rd. Go approximately 2.5 miles to Bauer Rd.

Turn right on Bauer Rd. Go one mile on Bauer Rd. past Walnut-Dowler and past the "no outlet" sign until you see two black mailboxes, one marked 9180 Bauer Rd. Turn right at the mailboxes, go down the drive and across a small bridge. We will be happy to escort you to the cabins, about a quarter-mile away.

The cabins are easily accessible by car.

Facilities

Each cabin offers:

hot tub on a roofed deck/Foreman electric grill
kitchen with range, microwave, coffee-maker, toaster and refrigerator, as well as table service and cookware
electric grill
electric heating and air conditioning
gas log stove
satellite TV/VCR/; 55 channels free, and pay-per-view events & movies
CD player
queen-size bed
linens and towels provided
telephone.

In addition, Melody offers handicapped access which includes:

wheelchair accessible bathroom/shower stall with pulldown seating
wide doorways
level entry for van unloading
smooth flooring
easy-to-use doorknobs

Local calls are free. Please have a calling card available for long-distance calls.

Rates and Checkout

Each reservation requires a deposit by credit card (Visa or MasterCard) of one-half the total. The balance is due on arrival.

No refunds 14 days or less before arrival date. There is a $25 fee if cancellation more than 14 days before arrival.

Rates are based on two-person occupancy. Add $15 for each additional person. Add 6% lodging tax.

Rates for each cabin (April 1-Jan 2):

$145 per night, two night minimum, ($290 total) during the weekend (Friday/Saturday).

$130 per night during the week (Sunday through Thursday).

Winter discount rates

Rates for each cabin (Jan. 3-March 31):

$130 per night, two night minimum, ($260 total) during the weekend (Friday/Saturday).

$115 per night during the week (Sunday through Thursday).

Three-Night Specials

Any three nights, add $100 for third night. More discounts for longer stays.

New Year's Eve prices and specials will be posted later.

Summer Special: June 3 through August 28:

Five nights for $499

Seven nights* for $599

*The first night of a seven-night stay cannot begin on Saturday night. Prices are based on two-person occupancy. Add 6% lodging tax.

Checkout time is 11 a.m.

Check in time: after 3 p.m., unless other arrangements made. We offer self-check in for your convenience.

We accept cash, Visa and MasterCard. Also, most debit cards are accepted.

Rental Agreement

A copy of our rental agreement is available upon request. Guests are liable for damage, loss or excessive cleanup.

Smoking and Pet Policy

Smoking is permitted outside on the decks only. No smoking is allowed inside the cabins or on the wooded trails.

We regret we are not accepting house pets at this time. We can recommend local boarding facilities for dogs. Service dogs are accepted.
